The Apostles On Trial Again

²⁹ Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We must persuade God rather than men. ³⁰ The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you had put to death by hanging Him on a cross. ³¹ God has exalted him with his right hand as Prince and Saviour, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
