Epaphras the servant of Christ, which is one of you, saluteth you, and always laboureth fervently for you in prayers that ye may stand perfect, and full in all that is the will of God.

I beseech you brethren for our Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the spirit, that ye help me in my business, with your prayers to God for me,

as ye learned of Epaphras our dear fellow servant, which is for you a faithful minister of Christ,

Ye shall therefore be perfect even as your father which is in heaven is perfect.

That we speak of is wisdom among them that are perfect - not the wisdom of this world, neither of the rulers of this world, which goeth to nought -

whom we preach warning all men, and teaching all men in all wisdom, to make all men perfect in Christ Jesus.

And he was in agony, and prayed somewhat longer: And his sweat was like drops of blood, trickling down to the ground.

If any man minister unto me, let him follow me: and where I am, there shall also my minister be. And if any man minister unto me, him will my father honour.

I myself am full certified of you, my brethren, that ye yourselves are full of goodness, and filled with all knowledge, and are able to exhort one another.

Brethren, be not children in wit. Howbeit, as concerning maliciousness be children: but in wit be perfect.

Finally, brethren, fare ye well: be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace, and the God of love and peace, shall be with you.

Preach I man's doctrine or God's? Other go I about to please men? If I studied to please men, I were not the servant of Christ.

My little children - of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be fashioned in you -

Not as though I had already attained to it, either were already perfect: but I follow, if that I may comprehend that, wherein I am comprehended of Christ Jesus.

For this cause we also, since the day we heard of it have not ceased praying for you, and desiring that ye might be fulfilled with the knowledge of his will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

in the body of his flesh through death, to make you holy, unblameable, and without fault in his own sight,

I would ye knew what fighting I have for your sakes, and for them of Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my person in the flesh,

Ye masters do unto your servants that which is just and equal, seeing ye know that ye have also a master in heaven.

The very God of peace sanctify you throughout. And I pray God that your whole spirit, soul, and body, be kept faultless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Which in the days of his flesh, did offer up prayers and supplications, with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death: and was also heard, because of his godliness.

But strong meat belongeth to them that are perfect, which through custom have their wits exercised, to judge both good and evil also.

James, the servant of God, and of the Lord Jesus Christ, sendeth greeting to the twelve tribes which are scattered here and there.

Knowledge your faults one to another: and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man availeth much, if it be fervent.

Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them which have obtained like precious faith with us in the righteousness that cometh of our God and saviour Jesus Christ.

Unto him that is able to keep you, that ye fall not, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with joy,
