In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a message was revealed to Daniel, who was named Belteshazzar; and the

message was true and one of great conflict, but he understood the message and had an understanding of the vision.

“The vision of the evenings and mornings
Which has been told is true;
But keep the vision secret,
For it pertains to many days in the future.”

But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.”

“For the vision is yet for the appointed time;
It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
For it will certainly come, it will not delay.
