The ships

The sons of Javan were Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim and Dodanim.

“But ships shall come from the coast of Kittim,
And they shall afflict Asshur and will afflict Eber;

So they also will come to destruction.”

Wail, O ships of Tarshish,
For Tyre is destroyed, without house or

harbor;

“Of oaks from Bashan they have made your oars;

Then he will return to his land with much plunder; but his heart will be set against the holy covenant, and he will take action and then return to his own land.

He will speak out against the Most High and wear down the saints of the Highest One, and he will intend to make alterations in times and in law; and they will be given into his hand for a

time, times, and half a time.

For this reason, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time.”
