The Time Of The Judgment And The Resurrection Of Two Groups

11 "Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued.

11 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

11 At that time Michael the great prince who stands watch over your people will rise up. There will be a time of distress such as never has occurred since nations came into being until that time. But at that time all your people who are found written in the book will escape.

11 ""At that time, Michael will arise, the great prince who will stand up on behalf of your people, and a time of trouble will come like there has never been since nations began until that time. Also at that time, your people will be delivered everyone who will have been written in the book.

11 And at that time [of the end] Michael shall arise, the great [angelic] prince who defends and has charge of your [Daniel's] people. And there shall be a time of trouble, straitness, and distress such as never was since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the Book [of God's plan for His own].

22 "Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt.

22 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

33 "Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.

33 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

33 Those who are wise will shine like the bright expanse [of the heavens], and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.

33 Those who manifest wisdom will shine like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who turn many to righteousness will shine like the stars for ever and ever.

33 And the teachers and those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness (to uprightness and right standing with God) [shall give forth light] like the stars forever and ever.

44 "But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase."

44 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

44 "But you, Daniel, keep these words secret and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will roam about, and knowledge will increase."

44 Now as for you, Daniel, roll up your scroll and seal your words until the time of the end. Many will rush around, while knowledge increases.'"

44 But you, O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the Book until the time of the end. [Then] many shall run to and fro and search anxiously [through the Book], and knowledge [of God's purposes as revealed by His prophets] shall be increased and become great.

The Words Are Sealed Up

55 Then I, Daniel, looked and behold, two others were standing, one on this bank of the river and the other on that bank of the river.

55 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.

55 Then I, Daniel, looked, and two others were standing there, one on this bank of the river and one on the other.

55 "Then while I, Daniel, continued watching, suddenly two others stood there, one on this side of the river bank and one on the other side.

55 Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, there stood two others, the one on the brink of the river on this side and the other on the brink of the river on that side.

66 And one said to the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, "How long will it be until the end of these wonders?"

66 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

66 One said to the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, "How long until the end of these extraordinary things?"

66 One asked the man dressed in linen clothes, who was standing above the waters of the river, "How long until the fulfillment of the wonders?'

66 And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

77 I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, as he raised his right hand and his left toward heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time; and as soon as they finish shattering the power of the holy people, all these events will be completed.

77 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

77 Then I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river. He raised both his hands toward heaven and swore by Him who lives eternally that it would be for a time, times, and half [a time]. When the power of the holy people is shattered, all these things will be completed.

77 "I heard the man dressed in linen clothes, who was standing above the waters of the river as he lifted his right and left hands to heaven and swore by the one who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and a half. When the shattering of the power of the holy people has occurred, all these things will conclude."

77 And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right and his left hand toward the heavens and swore by Him Who lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half a time [or three and one-half years]; and when they have made an end of shattering and crushing the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

Daniel Seeks Additional Insights

88 As for me, I heard but could not understand; so I said, "My lord, what will be the outcome of these events?"

88 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

88 "I heard, but I didn't understand. So I asked, "Sir, what happens next?'

88 And I heard, but I did not understand. Then I said, O my lord, what shall be the issue and final end of these things?

99 He said, "Go your way, Daniel, for these words are concealed and sealed up until the end time.

99 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

99 He said, "Go on your way, Daniel, for the words are secret and sealed until the time of the end.

99 "He answered, "Go on your way, Daniel, because these matters are wrapped up and sealed until the time of the end.

99 And he [the angel] said, Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed till the time of the end.

1010 "Many will be purged, purified and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.

1010 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

1010 Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; none of the wicked will understand, but the wise will understand.

1010 Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined, though the wicked will continue to act wickedly, and none of the wicked will understand. Nevertheless, the insightful will understand.

1010 Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be tried, smelted, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but the teachers and those who are wise shall understand.

1111 "From the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.

1111 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

1111 From the time the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.

1111 There will be 1,290 days from the time the regular burnt offering is rescinded and the destructive desolation established.

1111 And from the time that the continual burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days.

1212 "How blessed is he who keeps waiting and attains to the 1,335 days!

1212 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

1212 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches 1,335 days.

1212 Blessed is the one who perseveres and attains to the 1,335 days.

1212 Blessed, happy, fortunate, spiritually prosperous, and to be envied is he who waits expectantly and earnestly [who endures without wavering beyond the period of tribulation] and comes to the 1,335 days!

1313 "But as for you, go your way to the end; then you will enter into rest and rise again for your allotted portion at the end of the age."

1313 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

1313 But as for you, go on your way to the end; you will rest, then rise to your destiny at the end of the days."

1313 Now as for you, keep on going until the end you'll rest and then rise to receive your reward at the end of the age.'"

1313 But you [Daniel, who was now over ninety years of age], go your way until the end; for you shall rest and shall stand [fast] in your allotted place at the end of the days.
