The Handwriting On The Wall

⁶ Then the king became pale, and his thoughts troubled him, and the girdings of his loins were unloosed, and his knees smote one against another. ⁷ The king called aloud to bring in the conjurers, the Chaldeans and the diviners. The king spoke and said to the wise men of Babylon, “Any man who can read this inscription and explain its interpretation to me shall be clothed with purple and have a necklace of gold around his neck, and have authority as third ruler in the kingdom.” ⁸ Then all the king's wise men came in, but they could not read the writing, nor make known to the king its interpretation.

Daniel 5:16

And I have heard of thee, that thou canst declare that which is in doubt and unravel difficulties: now if thou canst read this writing and show me its interpretation, thou shalt be clothed with purple and have a chain of gold about thy neck and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom.

Daniel 5:29

Then Belshazzar commanded, and they clothed Daniel with purple and put a chain of gold about his neck and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.
