Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.
A false witness will not go unpunished,
And he who
tells lies will not escape.
And he who
Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the prophets who are prophesying in My name, although it was not I who sent them—yet they keep saying, ‘There will be no sword or famine in this land’—
by sword and famine those prophets shall meet their end!
The king then gave orders, and they brought those men who had
maliciously accused Daniel, and they cast them, their children and their wives into the lions’ den; and they had not reached the bottom of the den before the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones.
But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be
put to death, because he has counseled rebellion against the Lord your God who brought you from the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of slavery, to seduce you from the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. So you shall purge the evil from among you.
The hand of the witnesses shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.
The rest will hear and be afraid, and will never again do such an evil thing among you.
They shall say to the elders of his city, ‘This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey us, he is a glutton and a drunkard.’
then they shall bring out the girl to the doorway of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her
to death because she has committed an act of folly in Israel by playing the harlot in her father’s house; thus you shall purge the evil from among you.
If a man is caught kidnapping any of his countrymen of the sons of Israel, and he deals with him violently or sells him, then that thief shall die; so you shall purge the evil from among you.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
If there is a dispute between men and they go to court, and the judges decide their case, and they justify the righteous and condemn the wicked,
Our Law does not judge a man unless it first hears from him and knows what he is doing, does it?”
