The good land
Now the Lord was angry with me on your account, and swore that I would not cross the Jordan, and that I would not enter the good land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance.
the land into which you are about to cross to possess it, a land of hills and valleys, drinks water from the rain of heaven,
So I have come down
to deliver them from the power of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Amorite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite.
They said, “If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants as a possession; do not take us across the Jordan.”
on that day I swore to them,
to bring them out from the land of Egypt into a land that I had selected for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands.
