“Dan shall judge his people,
As one of the tribes of Israel.

The territory of the sons of Dan proceeded beyond them; for the sons of Dan went up and fought with Leshem and captured it. Then they struck it with the edge of the sword and possessed it and settled in it; and they called

Leshem Dan after the name of Dan their father.

There was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren and had borne no children.

The Spirit of the Lord
