Ephesians 3

² and how the secret was made known to me by revelation, as I have just briefly written.

² if indeed you have heard of the ^(E)stewardship of God’s grace which was given to me for you;

² If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

² you have heard, haven’t you, about the administration of God’s grace that He gave to me for you?

² Surely you have heard about the responsibility of administering God's grace that was given to me on your behalf,

⁴ (which in past ages was not disclosed to mankind as fully as it has now been revealed through the Spirit to his holy apostles and prophets)

^{4 (a)}By referring to this, when you read you can understand ^(K)my insight ^(b)into the ^(L)mystery of Christ,

⁴ Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

⁴ By reading this you are able to understand my insight about the mystery of the Messiah.^(C)

⁴ By reading this, you will be able to grasp my understanding of the secret about the Messiah,

⁶ for which I became a worker by virtue of the gift of God's mercy which by the exercise of his power he has given me.

⁶ to be specific, that the Gentiles are ^(N)fellow heirs and ^(O)fellow members of the body, and ^(P)fellow partakers of the promise in ^(Q)Christ Jesus through the gospel,

⁶ That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

⁶ The Gentiles are coheirs, members of the same body, and partners of the promise^(E) in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

⁶ The gentiles are heirs-in-common, members-in-common of the body, and common participants in what was promised by the Messiah Jesus through the gospel.

⁸ and making clear how the secret purpose is to be worked out which has been hidden away for ages in God the creator of all things,

⁸ To me, ^(V)the very least of all ^(d)saints, this grace was given, to ^(W)preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable ^(X)riches of Christ,

⁸ Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

⁸ This grace was given to me—the least of all the saints—to proclaim to the Gentiles the incalculable riches^(G) of the Messiah,

⁸ To me, the very least of all the saints, this grace was given so that I might proclaim to the gentiles the immeasurable wealth of the Messiah

¹⁰ fulfilling the eternal purpose which God carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord.

¹⁰ so that the manifold ^(AB)wisdom of God might now be ^(AC)made known through the church to the ^(AD)rulers and the authorities in ^(AE)the heavenly places.

¹⁰ To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

¹⁰ This is so God’s multi-faceted wisdom^(I) may now be made known through the church to the rulers and authorities in the heavens.^(J)

¹⁰ He did this so that now, through the church, the wisdom of God in all its variety might be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realm

¹² So I ask that what I am having to suffer for your sake may not make me lose heart, for it does you honor.

¹² in whom we have boldness and ^(h)(AH)confident ^(AI)access through faith ⁽ⁱ⁾in Him.

¹² In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

¹² In Him we have boldness and confident access^(L) through faith in Him.^(b)

¹² in whom we have boldness and confident access through his faithfulness.

¹⁴ from whom every family in heaven or on earth takes its name,

¹⁴ For this reason I ^(AL)bow my knees before the Father,

¹⁴ For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

¹⁴ For this reason I kneel^(O) before the Father^(c)

¹⁴ This is the reason I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah,

¹⁶ and through your faith to let Christ in his love make his home in your hearts. Your roots must be deep and your foundations strong,

¹⁶ that He would grant you, according to ^(AM)the riches of His glory, to be ^(AN)strengthened with power through His Spirit in ^(AO)the inner man,

¹⁶ That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

¹⁶ I pray that He may grant you, according to the riches^(P) of His glory,^(Q) to be strengthened with power^(R) in the inner man^(S) through His Spirit,

¹⁶ I pray that he would give you, according to his glorious riches, strength in your inner being and power through his Spirit,

¹⁸ and to understand Christ's love, so far beyond our understanding, so that you may be filled with the very fulness of God.

¹⁸ may be able to comprehend with ^(AS)all the ^(m)saints what is ^(AT)the breadth and length and height and depth,

¹⁸ May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

¹⁸ may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God’s love,^(T)

¹⁸ you will be able to understand, along with all the saints, what is wide, long, high, and deep

²⁰ be glory through the church and through Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever. Amen.

^{20 (AY)}Now to Him who is ^(AZ)able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, ^(BA)according to the power that works within us,

²⁰ Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

²⁰ Now to Him who is able^(U) to do above and beyond all that we ask or think^(V) according to the power^(W) that works in us—

²⁰ Now to the one who can do infinitely more than all we can ask or imagine according to the power that is working among us
