The Mystery Of Christ Revealed

1 For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles??2 for surely you have heard of the stewardship of the grace of God entrusted to me for you?

1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

1 For this reason I, Paul, (A)the prisoner of (B)Christ Jesus (C)for the sake of you (D)Gentiles—

1 For this reason, I, Paul, the prisoner(A) of Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles—

1 For this reason I, Paul, am the prisoner of the Messiah Jesus for the sake of you gentiles.

2 You have heard how by direct revelation the secret truth was made known to me, as I have already briefly written you.

2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

2 if indeed you have heard of the (E)stewardship of God’s grace which was given to me for you;

2 you have heard, haven’t you, about the administration of God’s grace that He gave to me for you?

2 Surely you have heard about the responsibility of administering God's grace that was given to me on your behalf,

3 By reading what I have written, you can judge of my insight into that secret truth of Christ

3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

3 (F)that (G)by revelation there was (H)made known to me (I)the mystery, (J)as I wrote before in brief.

3 The mystery was made known to me by revelation,(B) as I have briefly written above.

3 and how this secret was made known to me through a revelation, just as I wrote about briefly in the past.

4 which was not disclosed to the sons of men in former generations, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to his holy apostles and prophets,

4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

4 (a)By referring to this, when you read you can understand (K)my insight (b)into the (L)mystery of Christ,

4 By reading this you are able to understand my insight about the mystery of the Messiah.(C)

4 By reading this, you will be able to grasp my understanding of the secret about the Messiah,

5 namely, that in Christ Jesus the Gentiles form one body with us the Jews, and are coheirs and copartners in the promise, through the gospel.

5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

5 which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy (M)apostles and prophets (c)in the Spirit;

5 This was not made known to people(a) in other generations as it is now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets(D) by the Spirit:

5 which in previous generations was not made known to human beings as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God's holy apostles and prophets. This is that secret:

6 It is of this gospel I became a minister according to the gift of the power of the grace of God, bestowed on me by the energy of his power.

6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

6 to be specific, that the Gentiles are (N)fellow heirs and (O)fellow members of the body, and (P)fellow partakers of the promise in (Q)Christ Jesus through the gospel,

6 The Gentiles are coheirs, members of the same body, and partners of the promise(E) in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

6 The gentiles are heirs-in-common, members-in-common of the body, and common participants in what was promised by the Messiah Jesus through the gospel.

7 To me, who am less than the least of all saints, has this grace been given, that I should proclaim among the Gentiles the gospel of the unsearchable riches of Christ;

7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

7 (R)of which I was made a (S)minister, according to the gift of (T)God’s grace which was given to me (U)according to the working of His power.

7 I was made a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace that was given to me by the working of His power.(F)

7 I have become a servant of this gospel according to the gift of God's grace that was given me by the working of his power.

8 and should make all men see the new dispensation of that secret purpose, hidden from eternity in the God who founded the universe,

8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

8 To me, (V)the very least of all (d)saints, this grace was given, to (W)preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable (X)riches of Christ,

8 This grace was given to me—the least of all the saints—to proclaim to the Gentiles the incalculable riches(G) of the Messiah,

8 To me, the very least of all the saints, this grace was given so that I might proclaim to the gentiles the immeasurable wealth of the Messiah

9 in order that now his manifold wisdom should, through the church, be made known to the principalities and powers in the heavenly sphere,

9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

9 and to (e)bring to light what is the administration of the (Y)mystery which for ages has been (Z)hidden in God (AA)who created all things;

9 and to shed light for all about the administration of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created(H) all things.

9 and help everyone see how this secret that has been at work was hidden for ages by God, who created all things.

10 according to his eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

10 so that the manifold (AB)wisdom of God might now be (AC)made known through the church to the (AD)rulers and the authorities in (AE)the heavenly places.

10 This is so God’s multi-faceted wisdom(I) may now be made known through the church to the rulers and authorities in the heavens.(J)

10 He did this so that now, through the church, the wisdom of God in all its variety might be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realm

11 In him we have this fearless confidence and boldness of access through our faith in him.

11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

11 This was in (AF)accordance with the (f)eternal purpose which He (g)carried out in (AG)Christ Jesus our Lord,

11 This is according to His eternal purpose(K) accomplished in the Messiah, Jesus our Lord.

11 in keeping with the eternal purpose that God carried out through the Messiah Jesus our Lord,

12 So I beg you not to lose heart over my tribulations in your behalf; they are your glory.

12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

12 in whom we have boldness and (h)(AH)confident (AI)access through faith (i)in Him.

12 In Him we have boldness and confident access(L) through faith in Him.(b)

12 in whom we have boldness and confident access through his faithfulness.

14 This is the reason I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah,

15 praying him to grant you according to the riches of his glory to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in your inmost being;

18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God’s love,(T)

18 you will be able to understand, along with all the saints, what is wide, long, high, and deep

19 Now unto him who, according to his might that is at work within us, is able to do infinitely more than all we ask or even think,

19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

19 and to know (AU)the love of Christ which (AV)surpasses knowledge, that you may be (AW)filled up to all the (AX)fullness of God.

20 to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus, to all generations, world without end, Amen.

20 (AY)Now to Him who is (AZ)able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, (BA)according to the power that works within us,

20 Now to Him who is able(U) to do above and beyond all that we ask or think(V) according to the power(W) that works in us—

20 Now to the one who can do infinitely more than all we can ask or imagine according to the power that is working among us
