Spiritual Warfare

¹⁶ At every onslaught take up faith for your shield; for with it you will be able to extinguish all the flaming darts of the Evil One. ¹⁷ And receive 'the helmet of Salvation,' and 'the sword of the Spirit'--which is the Message of God--always with prayer and supplication. ¹⁸ Pray in spirit at all times. Be intent upon this, with unwearying perseverance and supplication for all Christ's People- -

Hebrews 4:12

God's Message is a living and active power, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing its way till it penetrates soul and spirit--not the joints only but the very marrow--and detecting the inmost thoughts and purposes of the mind.

Matthew 4:4
