If his offering is a
burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer it, a male without defect; he shall offer it at the doorway of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before the Lord.
for you to be accepted—it must be a male without defect from the cattle, the sheep, or the goats.
You shall not sacrifice to the Lord your God an ox or a sheep which has a blemish or any defect, for that is a detestable thing to the Lord your God.
You are presenting
defiled food upon My altar. But you say, ‘How have we defiled You?’ In that you say, ‘The table of the Lord is to be despised.’
For it was fitting for us to have such a
high priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners and exalted above the heavens;
the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh,
