Regulations Regarding Justice

¹ You shall not raise a false report. Do not put your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. ² You shall not follow a multitude to do evil. Neither shall you speak in a cause in order to follow many in order to wrest judgment. ³ And you should not favor a poor man in his cause.

Exodus 23:6-7

You shall not pervert the judgment of your poor in his cause.

Leviticus 19:15

You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment. You shall not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty; but you shall judge your neighbor in righteousness.

Deuteronomy 1:17

You shall not respect persons in judgment. You shall hear the small as well as the great. You shall not be afraid of the face of man, for the judgment is God's. And the cause that is too hard for you, bring to me, and I will hear it.
