You shall not follow a multitude to do evil. Neither shall you speak in a cause in order to follow many in order to wrest judgment.

Hide me from the council of those who injure, from the rebelling of the workers of iniquity,

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, each one to his own way; and Jehovah has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place for traveling men, that I might leave my people and go away from them! For they are all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men.

And the sound of a crowd was at ease with her; and drunkards from the wilderness were brought with the men of the host of mankind; and they put bracelets on their hands, and crowns of beauty on their heads.

But the chief priests moved the people that he should rather release Barabbas to them. And Pilate answered and said again to them, What then do you desire that I should do to him whom you call the King of the Jews? And they cried out again, Crucify him! Then Pilate said to them, Why? And deciding to do the easiest to the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them, and having scourged Him, delivered up Jesus to be crucified.

When I remember these things, I pour out my soul on me; for I had gone with the multitude; I went with them to the house of God with the voice of joy and praise, a multitude keeping the feast.

And when Ezra had prayed, and when he had confessed, weeping and casting himself down before the house of God, there gathered to him out of Israel a very great congregation of men and women and children, for the people wept with a great weeping.

Violence has risen up for a rod of wickedness. None of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of their riches; nor shall there be wailing for them. The time has come; the day has arrived. Let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn; for wrath is on all her multitude. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision; for the day of Jehovah is near in the valley of decision!

After these things I looked, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of all nations and kindreds and people and tongues, stood before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palms in their hands.

And he says to me, The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues,

And great crowds were gathered to Him, so that He went into a boat and sat. And all the crowd stood on the shore.

And He began again to teach by the seaside. And there was a great crowd gathered to Him, so that He entered into a boat and sat in the sea. And the whole crowd was on the land by the seaside.

And a great crowd coming together, and those in each city coming to Him, He spoke by a parable:

And again a crowd came together, so that they could not even eat bread.

And Jesus having crossed again by boat to the other side, a large crowd collected on Him. And He was near the sea.

In the meantime, when there had gathered together an innumerable crowd of people, so as to trample on one another, He began to say to His disciples first, Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

When He had come down from the mountain, great crowds followed him.

And Jesus withdrew to the sea with His disciples. And a great crowd from Galilee followed Him, and from Judea,

And great crowds went with Him. And He turned and said to them,

And a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His miracles which He did on the sick ones.

And seeing that a crowd is running together, Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him, Dumb and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter no more into him!

For he had an only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay dying. But as He went, the people thronged Him.

Then he said to the crowd that came forth to be baptized by him, O generation of vipers! Who has warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

And great crowds came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others. And they cast them down at Jesus' feet. And He healed them,

And Levi made a great feast in his own house for Him. And there was a great company of tax-collectors and of others who were reclining with them.

The crowd answered Him, We have heard out of the Law that Christ lives forever. How do you say, The Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?

Then the crowd witnessed, those who were with Him when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead.

And there was much murmuring among the crowd concerning Him, for some said, He is a good man; others said, No, but he deceives the crowd.

And He went out again by the seaside. And all the crowd came to Him, and He taught them.

And coming down with them, He stood on a level place. And a crowd of His disciples, and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon (who came to hear Him and to be healed of their diseases) were there; also those tormented by unclean spirits; and they were healed. And all the crowd sought to touch Him, for power went out of Him and healed them all.read more.

And as they departed, Jesus began to say to the crowds concerning John, What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?

Jesus spoke all these things to the crowds in parables, and He did not speak to them without a parable,

And He called the crowd and said to them, Hear and understand.

But when the crowds saw, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

And they were astonished at His doctrine. For He taught them as one who had authority, and not like the scribes.

David therefore himself calls Him Lord, and why then is He his son? And the great crowd heard Him gladly.

And many of the crowd believed on Him, and said, When the Christ comes, will He do more miracles than these which this One has done?

The crowd answered and said, You have a demon! Who seeks to kill you?

Then the crowd who stood by and heard said that it thundered. Others said, An angel spoke to Him.

But seeking to lay hands on Him, they feared the crowd, because they held Him for a prophet.

And they sought to seize him, but feared the crowd. For they knew that He spoke the parable against them. And leaving Him, they went away.

And the chief priests and the scribes sought to lay hands on Him the same hour. And they feared the people, for they perceived that He had spoken this parable against them.

And a very great crowd spread their garments in the way. Others cut down branches from the trees and spread them in the way. And the crowds who went before, and those who followed, cried out, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest! And when He had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?read more.

But when Pilate saw that it gained nothing, but rather that a tumult was made, he took water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person. You see to it.

And also a multitude came from the cities around Jerusalem, bringing sick ones, and those being tormented by unclean spirits, who were all healed.

And calling near all the crowd, He said to them, Listen to Me, every one of you, and understand.

And the people with one accord gave heed to those things which Philip spoke, hearing and seeing the many miracles which he did.

And on the coming sabbath day almost all the city came together to hear the Word of God. But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy and contradicted those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

Then Jesus spoke to the crowd and to His disciples,

And seeing what Paul did, the crowd lifted up their voice, saying in Lycaonian, The gods have come down to us, becoming like men. And they called Barnabas Jupiter, and Paul Mercury, because he was the chief speaker. And the priest of Jupiter, being before their city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates, wishing to sacrifice with the crowds.read more.
But hearing this, the apostles Barnabas and Paul tore their clothes and ran in among the people, crying out and saying, Men, why do you do these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preaching the gospel to you to turn you from these vanities to the living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and all things in them; who in past generations allowed all nations to walk in their own ways. And going out Jesus saw a large crowd. And He was moved with compassion toward them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. And He began to teach them many things.

And He arose from there. And He came into the borders of Judea by the other side of the Jordan. And again a crowd came together to Him. And as was His custom, He taught them again.

And the crowd rose up against them. And tearing off their clothes, the judges ordered them to be flogged.

But seeing the crowds, He was moved with compassion on them, because they were tired and scattered like sheep having no shepherd.

But the disobeying Jews becoming jealous, and having taken aside some wicked men of the market-loafers, and gathering a crowd, they set all the city in an uproar. And coming on the house of Jason, they sought to bring them out to the mob. And not finding them, they drew Jason and certain brothers before the city judges, crying, These who have turned the world upside down have come here too, whom Jason has received. And these all act contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, Jesus.read more.
And hearing these things, they troubled the crowd and the city judge. And taking security from Jason and from the rest, they let them go. And the brothers immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. They, when they arrived, went into the synagogue of the Jews. And these were more noble than those of Thessalonica, in that they received the Word with all readiness of mind and searched the Scriptures daily to see if those things were so. Therefore many of them believed, and quite a few of honorable Greek women and men. But when the Jews from Thessalonica knew that the Word of God was preached by Paul at Berea, they came there also and stirred up the people.

And Jesus went out and saw a great crowd, and He was moved with compassion toward them. And He healed their sick.

And Paul intending to go in to the mob, the disciples did not allow him. And some of the chief men of Asia, being his friends, sent to him, begging him not to give himself into the theater. Then indeed others cried out, some other things; for the assembly was confused, and most of them did not know why they had come together.read more.
And they dragged Alexander forward out of the crowd, the Jews thrusting him forward. And waving his hand Alexander desired to defend himself to the mob. This is the man who teaches all everywhere against the people and the Law and this place. And even he brought Greeks into the temple and has polluted this holy place. And as they were seeking to kill him, the news came to the chiliarch of the cohort, that all Jerusalem was in an uproar. He immediately took soldiers and centurions, and ran down to them. And seeing the chiliarch and the soldiers, they quit beating Paul. Then going near, the chiliarch laid hold on him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains. And he demanded who he was and what he had done. And others cried something else in the crowd, and not being able to know the certainty on account of the uproar, he commanded him to be carried into the fortress. And when he came on the stairs, it happened that he was carried by the soldiers, because of the violence of the crowd. For the multitude of the people followed after, crying, Away with him! And as Paul was about to be led into the fortress, he said to the chiliarch, Is it lawful for me to say a thing to you? And he said, Do you know Greek? Then are you not the Egyptian who before these days caused a riot, and led four thousand men of the assassins out into the wilderness? But Paul said, I am a man, a Jew of Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of no small city. And I beseech you, allow me to speak to the people. And he allowing him, standing on the stairs, Paul signaled with his hand to the people. And much silence taking place, he spoke in the Hebrew dialect, saying:

And great crowds followed Him. And He healed them there.

And evening coming on, His disciples came to Him, saying, The place is deserted and the time has already gone by. Send the crowd away so that they may go into the villages and buy food for themselves. But Jesus said to them, They do not need to leave, you give them something to eat. And they said to Him, We have here only five loaves and two fish.read more.
And He said, Bring them here to Me. And He commanded the crowd to recline on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to Heaven He blessed and broke, and gave the loaves to His disciples. And the disciples gave to the crowd. Send them away so that they may go to the surrounding fields and villages and buy loaves for themselves. For they have nothing to eat. He answered and said to them, You give them food to eat. And they said to Him, Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii of loaves and give them to eat?read more.
He said to them, How many loaves do you have? Go and see. And when they knew, they said, Five, and two fish. And He commanded them all to recline, group by group, on the green grass. And they reclined group by group, by hundred and by fifty. And taking the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to Heaven, He blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them. And He divided the two fish to all. And they all ate and were filled. And they took up twelve hand baskets full of fragments, also from the fish. And those eating the loaves were about five thousand men.

The noise of a multitude in the mountains, as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together; Jehovah of Hosts gathers an army for the battle.

But the day began to wear away, and coming up the Twelve said to Him, Send the crowd away so that they may go into the villages and farms all around, and lodge, and get food. For we are here in a deserted place. But He said to them, You give them something to eat. And they said, We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless we go and buy food for all these people. (For they were about five thousand men.) And He said to His disciples, Make them recline by fifties in a company.read more.

And after these things I heard a great sound of a numerous crowd in Heaven, saying, Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and honor and the power to the Lord our God!

Then Jesus called His disciples and said, I have compassion on the crowd because they continue with Me for three days now and have nothing to eat. And I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way. And His disciples said to Him, From where should we get so many loaves in the wilderness, so as to fill so great a crowd? And Jesus said to them, How many loaves do you have? And they said, Seven, and a few little fish.read more.

In that hour Jesus said to the crowds, Have you come out in order to take Me with swords and clubs, as against a thief? I sat daily with you, teaching in the temple, and you did not lay hands on Me.

And answering Jesus said to them, Have you come out with swords and clubs, as against a robber, to take Me?

And when Jesus came into the ruler's house and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise, He said to them, Go back, for the little girl is not dead, but sleeps. And they laughed Him to scorn. But when the people were put out, He went in and took her by the hand, and the little girl arose.

When they could not come near to Him because of the crowd, they unroofed the roof where He was. And digging through, they let down the cot on which the paralytic was lying.

And not finding a way by which they might bring him in through the crowd, going up on the housetop, they let him down through the tiles with his cot into the midst, before Jesus.

And immediately Jesus constrained His disciples to get into a boat and to go before Him to the other side, while He sent the crowds away.

And behold, a man cried aloud from the crowd, saying, Teacher, I beseech You, look on my son, for he is my only-born son. And lo, a spirit takes him, and he suddenly cries out. And it throws him into convulsions, with foaming, and with pain departs from him, bruising him.read more.

And His disciples said to Him, You see the crowd pressing on You, and do You say, Who touched Me? And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had been done in her, came and fell down before Him and told Him all the truth. And He said to her, Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be whole from your plague.

And drawing near the gate of the city, even behold, one having died was being carried out, an only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a considerable crowd of the city was with her.

And behold, there was a man named Zaccheus, who was a chief tax-collector. And he was rich. And he sought to see Jesus, to see who He was. And he could not because of the press, because he was little in stature.

And they came to Jericho. And as He with His disciples and a large crowd went out of Jericho, blind Bartimeus, the son of Timeus, was sitting by the side of the highway, begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me! And many warned him that he should be quiet, but he cried a great deal more, Son of David, have mercy on me!

And as He came near Jericho, it happened that a certain blind man sat by the roadside begging. And hearing the crowd pass by, he asked what it meant. And they told him that Jesus of Nazareth passed by.read more.

And it happened as He spoke these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice and said to Him, Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts which You have sucked.

In these lay a great multitude of those who were sick, of blind, lame, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and troubled the water. Then whoever first stepped in after the troubling of the water was made whole of whatever disease he had. And a certain man was there, who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.read more.
When Jesus saw him lying, and knowing that he had spent much time, He said to him, Do you desire to be made whole? The infirm man answered Him, Sir, when the water is troubled, I have no one to put me into the pool. But while I am coming, another steps down before me. Jesus says to him, Rise, take up your bed and walk. And immediately the man was made whole and took up his bed and walked. And it was a sabbath on that day.

And I know that You hear Me always, but because of the people who stand by I said it, so that they may believe that You have sent Me.
