Instructions For Making The Ark Of The Covenant

¹⁵ The rods are to be kept in the rings, and never taken out. ¹⁶ Inside the ark you are to put the record which I will give you. ¹⁷ And you are to make a cover of the best gold, two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide.

Deuteronomy 31:26

Take this book of the law and put it by the ark of the Lord's agreement, so that it may be a witness against you.

1 Kings 8:9
