But on that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, where My people are living, so that no swarms of flies will be there, in order that you may know that

I, the Lord, am in the midst of the land.

But the Lord will make a distinction between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt, so that nothing will die of all that belongs to the sons of Israel.”’”

They did not see one another, nor did anyone rise from his place for three days, but all the sons of Israel had light in their dwellings.

But against any of the sons of Israel a dog will not even bark, whether against man or beast, that you may understand how the Lord makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.’

The blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you live; and when I see the blood I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

Then my people will live in a peaceful habitation,
And in secure dwellings and in undisturbed resting places;
