1 Timothy 4:15
Take pains with these things; be absorbed in them, so that your progress will be evident to all.
So I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little book. And he *said to me, “
Take it and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.”
Go to the exiles, to the sons of your people, and speak to them and tell them, whether they listen or not, ‘Thus says the Lord God.’”
Then He said to me, “Son of man, I am sending you to the sons of Israel, to a rebellious people who have
rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me to this very day.
Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and the officials of Judah with the craftsmen and smiths from Jerusalem and had brought them to Babylon, the Lord showed me: behold, two baskets of figs set before the temple of the Lord!
