And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.
Then I came to the exiles who lived beside the river Chebar at Tel-abib, and I sat there
seven days where they were living, causing consternation among them.
Spirit lifted me up and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God to the exiles in Chaldea. So the vision that I had seen left me.
Then they answered and spoke before the king, “
Daniel, who is one of the exiles from Judah, pays no attention to you, O king, or to the injunction which you signed, but keeps making his petition three times a day.”
“Son of man, speak to the
sons of your people and say to them, ‘If I bring a sword upon a land, and the people of the land take one man from among them and make him their watchman,
When the sons of your people speak to you saying, ‘Will you not declare to us
what you mean by these?’
Then the Lord spoke to Moses, “Go
down at once, for your people, whom you brought up from the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves.
Then the Lord said to me, ‘Arise, go down from here quickly, for your people whom you brought out of Egypt have acted corruptly. They have quickly turned aside from the way which I commanded them; they have made a molten image for themselves.’
“Now at that time
Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued.
Then He said to me, “Son of man,
go to the house of Israel and speak with My words to them.
