But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
The Scripture, foreseeing that God
would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “ All the nations will be blessed in you.”
And do not enter into judgment with Your servant,
For in Your sight
no man living is righteous.
For in Your sight
Are we better than they? Not at all; for we have already charged that both Jews and Greeks are all under sin;
Therefore, just as through
one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned—
God has shut up all in disobedience so that He may show mercy to all.
in order that
in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while uncircumcised, so that he might be the father of all who believe without being circumcised, that righteousness might be credited to them,
The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,
2 Timothy 1:1
an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, according to the promise of life in Christ Jesus,
when God made the promise to Abraham, since He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself,
For this reason
He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
2 Peter 1:4
For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.

promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.

This is the promise which He Himself made to us: eternal life.

And the testimony is this, that God has given us
eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.
so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life.
“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.
For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.”
Jesus said to her,
“ I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies,
I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me will not remain in darkness.
but these have been written
so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.
They said, “
Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
1 John 3:23
This is His commandment, that we
believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us.
1 John 5:13
These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
