became the father of Rebekah; these eight Milcah bore to Nahor, Abraham’s brother.
Then Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent, and
he took Rebekah, and she became his wife, and he loved her; thus Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death.
Now Rebekah had a brother whose name was
Laban; and Laban ran outside to the man at the spring.
Isaac sent Jacob away, and he went to Paddan-aram to Laban, son of Bethuel the Aramean, the brother of Rebekah, the mother of Jacob and Esau.
and he drove away all his livestock and all his property which he had gathered, his acquired livestock which he had gathered in Paddan-aram,
to go to the land of Canaan to his father Isaac.
Then God appeared to Jacob again when he came from Paddan-aram, and He
You shall answer and say before the Lord your God, ‘
