Genesis 41:8

Now in the morning his spirit was troubled, so he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all its wise men. And Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was no one who could interpret them to Pharaoh.

The king spoke and said to the wise men of Babylon, “Any man who can read this inscription and explain its interpretation to me shall be clothed with purple and have a necklace of gold around his neck, and have authority as

third ruler in the kingdom.”

Aramaic: “O king, live forever! Tell the dream to your servants, and we will declare the interpretation.”

Then all the king’s wise men came in, but they could not read the inscription or make known its interpretation to the king.

For it is written,
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
And the cleverness of the clever I will set aside.”

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you thinks that he is wise in this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise.
