Genesis 50:2

Jacob's Burial

¹ Then Joseph fell on the face of his father and wept upon him and kissed him. ² And Joseph instructed his servants the physicians to embalm his father. So the physicians embalmed Israel. ³ Forty days {were required for it}, for thus [are] the days {required for} embalming. And the Egyptians wept for him seventy days.

Genesis 50:26

So Joseph died, [being] one hundred and ten years old. They embalmed him and he was placed in a coffin in Egypt.

2 Chronicles 16:14

And they buried him in his burial site, which had been cut out for him in the city of David. And they laid him on the bier which they had filled with all kinds of spices made [by] the perfumers as a fragment ointment. And they made a great fire in his honor.
