who does not need daily, like those high priests, to
offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the sins of the people, because this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.
the second, only the high priest enters once a year, not without taking blood, which he offers for himself and for the sins of the people committed in ignorance.
take some of the blood of the bull and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger; and you shall pour out all the blood at the base of the altar.
if the anointed priest sins so as to bring guilt on the people, then let him offer to the Lord a bull without defect as a sin offering for the sin he has committed.
Then he brought
the bull of the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin offering.
Moses then said to Aaron, “Come near to the altar and
offer your sin offering and your burnt offering, that you may make atonement for yourself and for the people; then make the offering for the people, that you may make atonement for them, just as the Lord has commanded.”
Aaron shall offer the bull for the sin offering which is for himself, that he may make atonement for himself and for his household.
Then he presented the people’s offering, and took the
goat of the sin offering which was for the people, and slaughtered it and offered it for sin, like the first.
