Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.

For while every priest stands, day after day, at his ministrations, and many times repeats the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins,

and because of this weakness he is bound to offer sin-offerings not only for the people, but also for himself.
but into the inner tent the high priest only goes alone, once a year, and that not without blood, which he offers for himself and for the ignorances of the people.

not taking the blood of goats and oxen, but his own blood, and entered once for all into the Holy Place, obtaining for us an eternal redemption.
In whole burnt offerings and sin offerings Thou hast taken no pleasure.
For the death that he died, he died unto sin once for all; but the life that he lives he is living unto God.
and in him you, too, are continuously built together for a dwelling-place of God through his Spirit.
