Judgment On The Nations

1 Come near, you nations, and give ear; take note, you peoples: let the earth and everything in it give ear; the world and all those living in it.

1 Draw near, (A)O nations, to hear; and listen, O peoples!(B)Let the earth and (a)all it contains hear, and the world and all that springs from it.

1 Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.

1 You nations, come here and listen;you peoples, pay attention!(A)Let the earth hear, and all that fills it,the world and all that comes from it.(B)

1 "Come near, you nations, to listen, and pay attention, you nations! Let the earth hear, and all that fills it; the world, and all that comes out of it.

2 For the Lord is angry with all the nations, and his wrath is burning against all their armies: he has put them to the curse, he has given them to destruction.

2 For the Lord’s (C)indignation is against all the nations,And His wrath against all their armies; He has (b)(D)utterly destroyed them,He has given them over to (E)slaughter.

2 For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.

2 The Lord is angry with all the nations—furious with all their armies.(C)He will set them apart for destruction,(D)giving them over to slaughter.

2 For the LORD is angry against all the nations, and furious against all their armies. He has doomed them to destruction, and given them up to be slaughtered.

3 Their dead bodies will be thick on the face of the earth, and their smell will come up, and the mountains will be flowing with their blood, and all the hills will come to nothing.

3 So their slain will be (F)thrown out,And their corpses (c)will give off their (G)stench,And the mountains will (d)be drenched with their (H)blood.

3 Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.

3 Their slain will be thrown out,and the stench of their corpses will rise;(E)the mountains will flow(a) with their blood.(F)

3 Their slain will be thrown out; and as for their dead bodies their stench will ascend; the mountains will be soaked with their blood.

4 And the heavens will be rolled together like the roll of a book: and all their army will be gone, like a dead leaf from the vine, or a dry fruit from the fig-tree.

4 And (I)all the host of heaven will (e)wear away,And the (J)sky will be rolled up like a scroll; All their hosts will also wither awayAs a leaf withers from the vine,Or as one withers from the fig tree.

4 And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

4 All(b) the heavenly bodies(G) will dissolve. The skies will roll up like a scroll,(H)and their stars will all witheras leaves wither on the vine, and foliage on the fig tree.(I)

4 The valleys will be split, all the stars in the heavens will fall down, and the skies will be rolled up like a scroll. All their starry host will fade away like leaves withering on a vine, or fruit withering on a fig tree.
