James 5:19

Help Those Who Have Wandered Away From The Truth

¹⁸ Then he prayed again and the sky poured rain and the ground produced its crop. ¹⁹ My brothers, if anyone among you strays away from the truth [of God's inspired message], and someone brings him back [to it], ²⁰ that person should know that whoever brings a sinner back from the error of his way will save that soul from [spiritual] death and will cover over a large number of sins [i.e., the many sins of that person will become forgiven].

Matthew 18:15

"And if your brother sins against you, go and show him where he wronged you, [but] keep it between just the two of you. If he listens to you [i.e., accepts your reasoning and repents], you have won your brother [back].

Galatians 6:1

Brothers, if any one of you is overwhelmed by a [particular] sin, those of you who are spiritually minded should [attempt to] restore such a person [to faithfulness]. But do it in a gentle way, being very careful that you yourself do not become tempted [to get involved in any sin].

Luke 22:32
