Jeremiah 21:5

A Message For Zedekiah

⁴ "Thus you shall say to Zedekiah, 'Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands and with which you are fighting against the king of Babylon and against the Chaldeans who are besieging you outside the walls. And I will bring them together into the midst of this city. ⁵ I Myself will war against you with an outstretched hand and a mighty arm, even in anger and wrath and great indignation. ⁶ And I will strike down the inhabitants of this city, both man and beast. They shall die of a great pestilence.

Outstretched Arm

Exodus 6:6

Say therefore to the people of Israel, 'I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from slavery to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment.

Isaiah 5:25

Therefore the anger of the LORD was kindled against his people, and he stretched out his hand against them and struck them, and the mountains quaked; and their corpses were as refuse in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger has not turned away, and his hand is stretched out still.
