"Those slain by the LORD on that day will be from one end of the earth to the other They will not be lamented, gathered or buried; they will be like dung on the face of the ground.
For the LORD will execute judgment by fire And by His sword on all flesh, And those slain by the LORD will be many.
They have poured out their blood like water round about Jerusalem; And there was no one to bury them.
On this account the anger of the LORD has burned against His people, And He has stretched out His hand against them and struck them down And the mountains quaked, and their corpses lay like refuse in the middle of the streets For all this His anger is not spent, But His hand is still stretched out.
