Bildad's Third Speech

2 Dominion and fear are with him; He maketh peace in his high places.

2 Dominion and dread() belong to Him,the One who establishes harmony in the heavens.()

2 "Dominion and fear belong to God; who fashions peace in his high heaven.

3 Is there any number of his armies? And upon whom doth not his light arise?

3 Can His troops be numbered?Does His light not shine on everyone?

3 Is there any limit to his armies? On whom does his light not shine?

4 How then can man be just with God? Or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?

4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?

4 “How then can a man be ()just with God?Or how can he be ()clean who is born of woman?

4 How can a person be justified before God?()How can one born of woman be pure?()

4 How can a human being become right with God? How can a human being be pure?

5 Behold, even the moon hath no brightness, And the stars are not pure in his sight:

5 Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.

5 “If even ()the moon has no brightnessAnd the ()stars are not pure in His sight,

5 If even the moon does not shineand the stars are not pure in His sight,()

5 Behold, even the moon isn't bright, and the stars aren't pure in his eyes.

6 How much less man, that is a worm! And the son of man, that is a worm!

6 How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?

6 How much less ()man, that ()maggot,And the son of man, that worm!”
