For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
I do not receive glory from men;
“So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.
But they do all their deeds to be noticed by men; for they broaden their phylacteries and lengthen the tassels of their garments.

“You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts; for that which is highly esteemed among men is detestable in the sight of God.
All the prosperous of the earth will eat and worship,

go down to the dust will bow before Him,

The praise of god
If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.
“ If I glorify Myself, My glory is nothing; it is My Father who glorifies Me, of whom you say, ‘He is our God’;
1 Samuel 2:30
Therefore the Lord God of Israel declares, ‘

perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life;
