Treasury of Scripture Knowledge
And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
Jesus spoke these things; and
lifting up His eyes to heaven, He said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, that the Son may glorify You,
knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come forth from God and was going back to God,
fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
He who has the bride is
the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. So this joy of mine has been made full.
These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.
Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.
Then he said to them, “Go, eat of the fat, drink of the sweet, and
send portions to him who has nothing prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
Then I will go to the altar of God,
my exceeding joy;
And upon the
lyre I shall praise You, O God, my God.
And upon the
Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting.
And the disciples were continually
filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.
for the kingdom of God
is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

These things we write, so that our joy may be made complete.
