On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there;

Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together.

and Ebron and Rehob and Hammon and Kanah, as far as Great Sidon.

When He killed them, then they sought Him,
And returned and searched diligently for God;

In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.

While He was saying these things to them, a synagogue official came and

bowed down before Him, and said, “My daughter has just died; but come and lay Your hand on her, and she will live.”

And a Canaanite woman from that region came out and began to cry out, saying, “Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is cruelly demon-possessed.”

When they came to the crowd, a man came up to Jesus, falling on his knees before Him and saying,

And a centurion’s slave, who was highly regarded by him, was sick and about to die.

for he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, and she was dying. But as He went, the crowds were pressing against Him.
