Many Disciples Desert Jesus

⁶⁹ and we have believed and we have acknowledged that you are the Christ, the son of God. ⁷⁰ Jesus answered them, have I not chosen you all twelve, and yet one of you is an avowed enemy? ⁷¹ meaning Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that would betray him, altho' he was one of the twelve.
