Many Disciples Desert Jesus

⁶⁹ We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God. ⁷⁰ Jesus answered them, “Did I Myself not choose you, the twelve, and yet one of you is a devil?” ⁷¹ He spoke of Judas the son of Simon Iscariot one of the twelve, for he would betray him.

After he was given the piece of bread Satan entered him. Jesus said to him: Do what you do quickly.

John 13:2

The devil influenced the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son. So he betrayed him during the meal.
