Jesus Predicts His Death

²⁸ Jesus, therefore, said, "When ye lift up the Son of Man, then will ye know that I am He; and, of Myself, I do nothing, but, as the Father taught Me, I speak these things. ²⁹  And He Who sent Me is with Me. He hath not left Me alone; because I am always doing the things that please Him." ³⁰ As He spake these things, many believed on Him.
