Take heed to yourselves, and to all the flock in which the Holy Spirit appointed you overseers, to shepherd the assembly of God, which He purchased with His own blood.

He Who spared not His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?

But, when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under law,

Beware, lest there should be any one who makes a spoil of you through his philosophy and vain deceits, according to the tradition of men, according to the rudiments of the world, and not according to Christ;

For both He Who sanctifieth and those who are sanctified are all of One; for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brethren, saying, "I will declare Thy name to my brethren; in the midst of an assembly will I sing praise to Thee." read more. And again, "I will put my trust in Him." And again, "Behold, I and the children whom God gave me." Since, therefore, the children have partaken of blood and flesh, He Himself also in like manner took part of the same; that, through death, He might bring to nought him who had the power of death, that is, the Devil;

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness, to he tempted by the Devil. And, having fasted forty days and forty nights, He afterwards hungered.

Then the Devil takes Him into the holy city, and placed Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and says to Him, "If Thou art a Son of God, cast Thyself down; for it has been written, 'He shall give His angels charge concerning Thee; and on their hands they shall bear Thee up; lest at any time Thou shouldest dash Thy foot against a stone.'" Jesus said to him, "Again it has been written, 'You shall not tempt the Lord your God.'" Again the Devil takes Him into an exceedingly high mountain, and shows Him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; and he said to Him, "All these things will I give Thee, if, falling down, Thou wilt worship me." Then Jesus saith to him, "Depart, Satan; for it has been written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.'" Then the Devil leaves Him; and, behold, angels came and were ministering to Him.

And, behold, they were bringing to Him a paralytic laid upon a couch. And Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, "Child, be of good courage; your sins are forgiven." And, behold, some of the scribes said among themselves, "This Man is blaspheming! " read more. And Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, "Why think ye evil in your hearts? For which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Arise, and walk.' "But, that ye may know that the Son of Man hath authority on the earth to forgive sins" (then saith He to the paralytic), "Arise, and take up your bed, and go to your house."

"All things were delivered to Me by My Father; and no one fully knows the Son except the Father; neither does any one fully know the Father except the Son, and he to whom the Son willeth to reveal Him.

Is not This the carpenter's Son? Is not His mother called Mary, and His brothers, James, and Joseph, and Simon, and Judas?

While he was yet speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. And, behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in Whom I delighted; hear Him."

And Jesus, coming near, spake to them, saying, "All authority was given to Me in Heaven and on earth: going, therefore, disciple ye all the nations, immersing them into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; read more. teaching them to observe all things, whatsoever I commanded you; and, behold, I am with you all the days, even to the end of the age."

And He Himself was in the stern, sleeping on the cushion; and they awake Him, and say to Him, "Teacher, is it no concern to Thee that we perish?"

And He marvelled because of their unbelief. And He was going round about the villages, teaching.

But He saith to them, "How many loaves have ye? go and see." And, having ascertained, they say, "Five, and two fishes."

And He said to her, "Because of this word go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter."

"I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with Me now three days, and have nothing to eat;

And, sighing deeply in His spirit, He saith, "Why does this generation seek a sign? verily I say to you, there shall no sign be given to this generation."

And He asked his father, "How long a time is it since this has befallen him?" And he said, "From a child.

But Jesus, seeing it, was much displeased, and said to them, "Permit the little children to come to Me; forbid them not; for to such belongs the Kingdom of God.

And He taketh with Him Peter and James and John, and began to be greatly amazed, and to be in distress.

And Jesus said, "I am; and ye shall see the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven." And the high priest, rending his clothes, says, "What further need have we of witnesses?

And He said to them, "Going into all the world, preach the Gospel to the whole creation. He that believes and is immersed shall be saved; but he that disbelieves shall be condemned. read more. And these signs shall accompany those having believed: in My name will they cast out demons: they will speak with tongues; they will take up serpents; and, if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form, as a dove; and a voice came out of Heaven, "Thou art My Son, the Beloved, in Whom I delighted."

And, hearing these things, Jesus marvelled at him; and, turning, He said to the multitude following Him, "I say to you, not even in Israel did I find such faith!"

And, seeing her, the Lord was moved with compassion towards her, and said to her, "Weep not."

In that same hour He exulted in the Holy Spirit, and said, "I thank Thee, O Father Lord of Heaven and earth, because Thou didst hide these things from the wise and discerning, and didst reveal them to babes: yea, Father, because it was well-pleasing in Thy sight.

But ye are they who have remained with Me in my temptations;

And He said to them, "These are My words which I spake to you, while being yet with you: that all things must be fulfilled, that have been written in the law of Moses, and the prophets, and the Psalms, concerning Me." Then He opened their mind, that they might understand the Scriptures; read more. and He said to them, "Thus it has been written, that the Christ should suffer, and rise from the dead on the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. Ye are witnesses of these things,

On the morrow he sees Jesus coming to him, and he says, "Behold, the Lamb of God Who taketh away the sin of the world!

and Jacob's well was there. Jesus, therefore, being wearied with His journey, was sitting thus at the well. It was about the sixth hour.

And He Who sent Me is with Me. He hath not left Me alone; because I am always doing the things that please Him."

Jesus, therefore, when He saw her weeping, and the Jews weeping who came with her, groaned in the spirit, and troubled Himself; and He said, "Where have ye laid Him?" They say to Him, "Lord, come and see."

Jesus saith to him, "So long a time am I with you, and you do not know Me, Philip! He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how say you, 'Show us the Father?'

After these things Jesus, knowing that all things have now been finished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, saith, "I thirst."

and yet He left not Himself without witness, doing good, giving you rains from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness."

For His invisible things, since the creation of the world, are clearly seen, being perceived by the things that are made, even His everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse:

for a dispensation of the fulness of the seasons, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth; in Him,

in Whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins;

at the end of these days spake to us in His Son, Whom He appointed Heir of all things, through Whom also He constituted the ages;

For it was becoming Him, on Whose account are all things, and through Whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to perfect, through suffering, the Captain of their salvation.

else had it been needful for Him ofttimes to suffer since the founding of a world; but now, once for all, at the end of the ages, He hath been manifested for the putting away of sin through the sacrifice of Himself.
