Joshua's Farewell Address

⁹ "For Yahweh has driven great and strong nations out from before you. But as for you, no man has stood before you to this day. ¹⁰ One man of you shall chase a thousand; for it is Yahweh your God who fights for you, as he spoke to you. ¹¹ Take good heed therefore to yourselves, that you love Yahweh your God.

Leviticus 26:8

Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase ten thousand; and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

Deuteronomy 3:22

You shall not fear them; for Yahweh your God, he it is who fights for you."

Exodus 14:14

Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still."

Deuteronomy 32:30

How could one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, and Yahweh had delivered them up?

Joshua 23:3
