When

but I have written more boldly to you in part, to refresh your minds on account of the grace given me by God

You see with how long a letter I have written to you.

And I beseech you, brothers, suffer the word of exhortation; for I have sent to you a letter in a few words.

I have written to you in a few words by Silvanus [Silas], a faithful brother as I suppose, exhorting you, and testifying that this is the true grace of God in which you stand.

Wherefore I will not neglect always to remind you of these things, although you have known them, and have been established in the present truth.

THIS second epistle, beloved, I now write to you, in which I excite your pure minds by remembrance,

And there is salvation in no other; for there is no other name given under heaven among men, by which we can be saved.

And both Paul and Barnabas speaking boldly said, It was necessary that the word of God should first be spoken to you; but since you cast it away, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the gentiles.

Be it known to you, therefore, that the salvation of God is sent to the gentiles, and they will hear it.

Retain the form of sound words which you heard from me in faith and the love in Christ Jesus.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith;

Fear not what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that you may be tried, and you shall have affliction ten days. Be faithful till death, and I will give you the crown of life.

And they conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and exposed their lives to death.
