Treasury of Scripture Knowledge
And Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall put off the linen garments, which he put on when he went into the holy place, and shall leave them there:
He shall put on the
holy linen tunic, and the linen undergarments shall be next to his body, and he shall be girded with the linen sash and attired with the linen turban (these are holy garments). Then he shall bathe his body in water and put them on.
When the priests enter, then they shall not go out into the outer court from the sanctuary
without laying there their garments in which they minister, for they are holy. They shall put on other garments; then they shall approach that which is for the people.”
When they go out into the outer court, into the outer court to the people, they shall
put off their garments in which they have been ministering and lay them in the holy chambers; then they shall put on other garments so that they will not transmit holiness to the people with their garments.
what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,
who, although He
existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped,
so Christ also, having been
offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.
