Physical Defects And Priests

1616 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

1616 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

1616 The Lord spoke to Moses:

1616 The LORD told Moses,

1616 And the Lord said to Moses,

1717 "Speak to Aaron, saying, 'No man of your offspring throughout their generations who has a defect shall approach to offer the food of his God.

1717 Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.

1717 "Tell Aaron: None of your descendants throughout your generations who has a physical defect is to come near to present the food of his God.

1717 "Tell Aaron that whoever of your descendants throughout their generations has a bodily defect is not to approach to offer the food of his God.

1717 Say to Aaron, Any one of your sons in their successive generations who has any blemish, let him not come near to offer the bread of his God.

1818 'For no one who has a defect shall approach: a blind man, or a lame man, or he who has a disfigured face, or any deformed limb,

1818 For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,

1818 No man who has any defect is to come near: no man who is blind, lame, facially disfigured, or deformed;

1818 Indeed, any person who has a defect is not to approach the Tent of Meeting the blind, the lame, one who is mutilated in the face or who has a very long limb,

1818 For no man who has a blemish shall approach [God's altar to serve as priest], a man blind or lame, or he who has a disfigured face or a limb too long,

1919 or a man who has a broken foot or broken hand,

1919 Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,

1919 no man who has a broken foot or hand,

1919 or a person who has a fractured foot or hand,

1919 Or who has a fractured foot or hand,

2020 or a hunchback or a dwarf, or one who has a defect in his eye or eczema or scabs or crushed testicles.

2020 Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;

2020 or who is a hunchback or a dwarf, or who has an eye defect, a festering rash, scabs, or a crushed testicle.

2020 has scoliosis, is a dwarf, or has an eye defect, an itching disease, scabs, or a crushed testicle.

2020 Or is a hunchback, or a dwarf, or has a defect in his eye, or has scurvy or itch, or scabs or skin trouble, or has damaged testicles.

2121 'No man among the descendants of Aaron the priest who has a defect is to come near to offer the LORD'S offerings by fire; since he has a defect, he shall not come near to offer the food of his God.

2121 No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.

2121 No descendant of Aaron the priest who has a defect is to come near to present the fire offerings to the Lord. He has a defect and is not to come near to present the food of his God.

2121 None of the descendants of Aaron the priest who has a defect is to approach to bring offerings of the LORD made by fire, since he has a defect. He is not to approach to offer the food of his God.

2121 No man of the offspring of Aaron the priest who has a blemish and is disfigured or deformed shall come near [the altar] to offer the offerings of the Lord made by fire. He has a blemish; he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God.

2222 'He may eat the food of his God, both of the most holy and of the holy,

2222 He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.

2222 He may eat the food of his God from what is especially holy as well as from what is holy.

2222 However, he may eat the food of his God, including the most holy and the holy offerings,

2222 He may eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy and of the holy things,

2323 only he shall not go in to the veil or come near the altar because he has a defect, so that he will not profane My sanctuaries. For I am the LORD who sanctifies them.'"

2323 Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them.

2323 But because he has a defect, he must not go near the curtain or approach the altar. He is not to desecrate My sanctuaries, for I am the Lord who sets them apart."

2323 but he is not to enter through the curtain nor approach the altar, since he has a defect. That way, he won't defile my sanctuary, since I am the LORD, who sets you apart."

2323 But he shall not come within the veil or come near the altar [of incense], because he has a blemish, that he may not desecrate and make unclean My sanctuaries and hallowed things; for I the Lord do sanctify them.

2424 So Moses spoke to Aaron and to his sons and to all the sons of Israel.

2424 And Moses told it unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel.

2424 Moses said [this] to Aaron and his sons and to all the Israelites.

2424 Moses told all of this to Aaron, to his sons, and to all the Israelis.

2424 And Moses told it to Aaron and to his sons and to all the Israelites.
