Fear gripped them all, and they began glorifying God, saying, “A great prophet has arisen among us!” and, “God has visited His people!”
Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles.
And as he heard these words, Ananias
fell down and breathed his last; and great fear came over all who heard of it.
This became known to all, both Jews and Greeks, who lived in
Ephesus; and fear fell upon them all and the name of the Lord Jesus was being magnified.
But after the three and a half days,
the breath of life from God came into them, and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell upon those who were watching them.
at this time Mary arose and went in a hurry to the hill country, to a city of Judah,
Then the men of Gibeon sent word to Joshua to the camp at Gilgal, saying, “Do not
abandon your servants; come up to us quickly and save us and help us, for all the kings of the Amorites that live in the hill country have assembled against us.”
And His father and
mother were amazed at the things which were being said about Him.
