²⁷ And he said to him, 'Your brother has come; and your father killed the fatted calf, because he received him in sound health.' ²⁸  But he was angry, and was not willing to go in; but his father, coming out, kept entreating him. ²⁹ But he, answering, said to his father, 'Behold, so many years do I serve you; and, at no time, did I transgress a command of yours; and you never gave me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends.
