The Rich Man And Lazarus

²³ and in hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and saw Abraham from afar, and Lazarus in his bosom. ²⁴  And he called and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am in pain in this flame. ²⁵ But Abraham said, Son, remember that you received your good things in your life, and Lazarus in like manner evil things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in pain.
