After they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and had sat down together, Peter was sitting among them.
How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!
I do not sit with deceitful men, Nor will I go with pretenders.

Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard, and a servant-girl came to him and said, “You too were with Jesus the Galilean.”
As Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the servant-girls of the high priest *came,
And being in agony He was praying very fervently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down upon the ground.
but Peter was standing at the door outside. So the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to the doorkeeper, and brought Peter in.
Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. So they said to him, “You are not also one of His disciples, are you?” He denied it, and said, “I am not.”
Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”
Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?
