²⁵ Woe to you who are full now! For you will hunger. Woe to you who laugh now! You will mourn and weep. ²⁶ Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for their fathers used to treat the false prophets in the same way. ²⁷ I tell you who listen, love your enemies and do good to those who hate you.

They say to the seers: Do not see the future. They say to those who have visions: 'Do not have visions that tell us what is right. Tell us what we want to hear. Prophesy illusions.

Jeremiah 5:31
