And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught.

Some time after he returned to Capernaum; upon the rumour that he was there,

and leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, a maritime town upon the confines of Zabulon and Nepthalim:

At length he went to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath-days.

and thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to the sky, shall be plung'd into an abyss.
