Persecution Of Disciples Predicted

⁸ For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in various places; and there will be famines: these are the beginning of anguish. ⁹  "But take heed to yourselves; for they will deliver you up to the councils; and in synagogues ye will be beaten; and before governors and kings ye will stand for My sake, for a testimony to them. ¹⁰ And the Gospel must first be preached to all the nations.
