And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.

thus he entertain'd them: and after that, he said to them, our friend Lazarus is asleep; but I am going to awake him.

so Paul went down, and stooping over him, he embraced him, and said, don't trouble your selves; for his life is in him.

hence it is, that many are weak and sickly among you, and no small number now sleep in their graves.

Now I would not have you, my brethren, be mistaken about the state of the dead, lest you should be as greatly afflicted as those, who have no hope.

that whether we happen to be alive or dead, we may be secure of living with him.
