Herod Kills John The Baptist

¹⁴ And the king Herod heard of Him, (for His name became famous), and he said, "John the Immerser has risen from the dead; and, because of this, the powers are working in Him." ¹⁵ But others said, "It is Elijah." And others said, "It is a prophet, or as one of the prophets." ¹⁶ But Herod, hearing of Him, said, "It is he whom I beheaded, John, the same was raised."
